Another Bitcoin thread

I don’t know, I don’t care, but thought we could use another Bitcoin thread.

Just standing on the sidelines but dreading the day when I look back and have to acknowledge that I could have got in at the beginning.

This is why I mainly bought. I wanted to own atleast one whole coin. If the price goes up to 100k I would not be able to.

Sounds as though you have a point worthy of it's own very own worthless thread.

Seems to me if you wish to seriously discuss the merits of this phenomenon truly is you would want to do it in a thread which truly represents how seriously we should be taking it in the first place.

Maybe an official TRF Bitcoin Open Discussion thread?

At least it would keep some continuity.

I think that this is going to crash but it hasn’t yet and so I guess some of us are slightly bummed that we didn’t get in. Hindsight 20/20 and all that.

For those of you that did huge congratulations!

I do caution though that this could be a bigger fool principle. There could be some bag holders in this. So please be careful.

I am more cautious in my investing but I can sleep at night.

I certainly don’t wish anyone any ill will, although since i’m obviously ignorant to this whole thing if it does hit BIG just keep it on the downlow because that way I can happily stay as ignorant as i was when I initially missed out to begin with.

Remember what I said in the other thread:

A $5000US bitcoin investment in July 2010 would be worth $1.06BILLION today’s

I use Bitcoin as a vehicle and for storage but my main investments are in XRP (the only crypto basically run by a major international company, and the only crypto with major global use case) and CSNO which has doubled my investment in 7 weeks which no end in sight.

Bitcoin is sexy because everyone knows it. It’s a brand. Once you use it, you realize how fat and slow it is. Your kids will all ask one day: “Hey, how much Ripple or Ether were your bitcoins worth?” Ha!

well sitting pretty on 65% return on XRP today, lost my wallet over the weekend and was going to invest in some today until I saw the price jump, not sure if it's smart to jump on now. probably can't go too wrong though in the long

Funny, but isn’t that the way it always works out. It’s kind of like Duh, the emperor realy isn’t wearing any clothes. Is now the moment or do people really need to wait any longer to figure this one out on their own?

Investment stuff is way over my head and I'm not one for gambling, hopefully our fellow hobbyists here on the forum are out of harms way.

Happy holidays.

This is a good video on Bitcoin by a financial advisor and skeptic. People may criticize him for not understanding Bitcoin, but the video is thought-provoking.

Well, I certainly don’t wish others harm. Just thinking it sounds like something people will look back on after all is done and said and say what in the H*** were they thinking in the first place.
