Which gold date dress watch would you buy?

Dear TRF,

I am looking to save for a gold dress watch with a date complication next to purchase and I have shortlisted my final decision to three brands(A Lange & Sohne/Vacheron Constantin/Blancpain). Which dress watch would you buy?

A Lange & Sohne Saxonia Outsize Date 381:

Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Self-Winding 85180:

Blancpain Villeret Ultraplate 6224:

Thanks for your opinion.

Current collection: Rolex Submariner 116610LV, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional

Of those options the Lange clearly comes top in my book with Vacheron second (just a shame with the date wheel not colour matched to the dial, this is a pet peeve of mine).

Might be worth also having a look at a PP Calatrava, e.g. 5227R or 5296R. Calatrava is kind of the quintessential gold dress watch.

Lange > Vacheron > > > Blancpain

The Lange has the edge for me but the Patrimony is a beautiful timepiece as well. Can’t go wrong with either.

ALS by a huuuuge landslide.

Elegant dial, balanced, and my aging eyes love the big date windows.

That Lange...WOW...just WOW! VC I also am not a fan of non color matched date window, if you don’t need a date window, omega Seville tresor in rose gold has a similar look!

ALS among those three but it is not your typical restrained dress watch. Quite a statement and sportier than most in my eyes. But pretty it is.

Me? I'd likely get some Calatrava such as 5296 or 3998 depending on the preferred size...

Most here seem to prefer the Lange which is very nice.
But my vote is for the Vacheron which is dressier.
Personally, for a dress watch with a dark dial, I would pick this JLC MUT Moon.

I like the Lange best among the choices. But I like the JLC MUT Moon better. I had it in white/silver, found it too hard to read, packaged it in a trade for a Patek Calatrava.

The Omega Trésor De Ville was my choice, since I knew whatever gold dress watch I got wouldn’t get much wrist time.

The Lange is the king of the three you suggested though.
