New engraving and review of RSC Toronto

Just got my birthday / wedding gift (explorer II) engraved by the RSC Toronto.

First off I’d like to say that the service there has always been fantastic. They are quoting 4 weeks for small jobs right now but I told them the situation on how I wanted to wear it for my actual birthday this Sunday. And they put a rush on it and had it done for me in 5 days.

The engraving looks pretty great when looking at it. But What I found interesting is I assumed that the engraving was done by machine. But if you zoom into the photo you can see how unrefined the lines are. Making me think it may have been done by hand?? Maybe not but it’s interesting. Nonetheless I do think it’s kind of cool that it isn’t perfect because it does give it that classic hand engraved feel, which I like

That's a great wedding gift, btw!

Engraving looks good, glad to see they helped you out with a quicker turnaround.

that looks awesome. question (maybe a dumb one): does anyone know if engraving voids the warranty? or is it ok if done by RSC (and will RSC always agree to do this for you)?

Does not void warranty. And yes RSC offers engraving as a service.

This may be different depending on which part of the world ur in

My parents happen to live across the street from Toronto RSC. They are both Rolex owners and always say how amazing they are! Happy it worked out for you as well, I think the engraving looks fine!

That looks great Andre:

Did you pick a font style at RSC, or did you come prepared with some examples.

Happy birthday in advance

They gave me 3 examples to choose from!

Commercial Script
Times New Roman
Helvetica

Here’s the photo of the document they gave me to fill out while dropping the watch off
