Hello Victor. Belated congratulations from me too.

I admire the Nautilus case design. Have you wondered if Patek stylists created the garage door bands on the 5711 dial to build on Gerald Genta's "porthole" theme--closed blinds? Also, how much Patek had been considering the SE Asia market when creating the Nautilus. Not only is it perfect for the climate, but Patek must have noticed the surge in sales of APs in Hong Kong alone immediately after the introduction of the RO. And that customers there are much less likely to be as hard on their sports watches as Europeans and North Americans--therefore no need to wear Rolex everyday.

I envy that you are in Singapore. Such food! Such a rational government! I love it. My most strenuous exertions in Singapore are usually from walking to all LV boutiques (and Sincere) on Orchard Road.

I hope you will wear your 5711s (it's rare to pluralize that number) in good health and spirit.
