New Patek Green dial

Hey guys just seen this post from The Notorious Conor Mcgregor. Any thoughts or more info about this one. Other then nobody can get one lol. He seems to have a serious watch game. I’d love to see his entire collection.

No love for that guy. Also prefer both black and blue P variations of the 5905.

Looks OK to me as a one off piece, certainly for Irish smiling eyes.

Well I’m not a fan of green on a watch either but this 5905 with a tan/ black strap versus the Hulk the Patek wins for me. Granted 2 different watches and price points entirely

For the record, this isn't new. It was announced several months ago... I seem to recall some time in 2019.

I like the dial on the watch. I'm just not sure I would like a green strap with a green dial watch. I need a little contrast.

Stunning and a reach for Patek. But done with a very appropriate person in McGregor.
I feel this was a very well calculated marketing for a very traditional brand.

Ahem, saw 1 piece listed at $512k. 5-1-2 grand.

The retail price was €90,500, or $105k.

Ha! I was thinking the same thing. Maybe grey or black alligator strap with green stitching.

This is one of those watches that if Patek/AD offers you one, you take it... regardless of what you think about it.

You there at the event? That would have been a distinct privilege for me. Or maybe not considering I wouldn't know what to do. So what happens in such events? Is everyone a watch journalist or conversant about the marque or are they local VIPs? It looks as though Patek allowed people to try on their expensive watches. Suppose someone had beer on their sticky hands?

In your observation, did the dial have to catch the light correctly to complement the color of the band? The dial in the OP's picture clashes with the band--perhaps an unfortunate angle? The dial in your picture works well with the band. It works even better with the navy color knit cuff. Watches like that are rarely glimpsed in the wilderness.

Thank you for sharing.

The green Aquanaut looks very nice and more subtle than this one.

This is the silliest piece PP has ever made. It looks like a cartoon. Very bright green. Not a dignified watch IMHO.

Nice watch worn by the wrong person.

This is doing the brand no favor.
