Hey Larry,

I voted for the 17th, but the 3rd will also work. I am out of town on the 10th.

I forgot I am judging a Car show on the 3rd and cannot be in Beverly Hills. Wes cannot be there for the 10th.

Would the 11/17, 12/1 or 12/8 be better dates?

12/1 works. I have a few folks from work that are interested too. Thank you!

I can't do 12/8. I should be able to do 12/1.

Any update on this? Aside from the poll results it sounds like 12/1 may be the best option.

Not sure how the giveaways have worked in the past but any chance we can use this for picking the winners if enough members show up??

It seems like 12/1 works for most people. Should we make that our final date, Larry? If there is no other GTG beforehand, we may even be able to do the Daytona drawing at the GTG!

I just got back from Yosemite and even though I was at the Ahwanee Hotel, I felt like I was on Dial-up! So, I am catching up.

12/1 seems like a good date.

If anyone has any Rolex or watch related swag and wants to participate in a Give-A-Way, Please, bring an item or two for the GAW.

The items do not need to be expensive or elaborate. In the past, we have had bottles of watch cleaner/cloths, Rolex Magazines, green Rolex watch bags, watch rolls, catalogs, or anything fun that is watch related.

Basically, something that is no longer of interest to you, or is excess to your needs, will be appreciated by someone else.

This is done on an entirely volunteer basis, so show up even if you do not have anything to share.

Who can come? Anyone that has an interest in watches. Friends, family members, anyone, and everyone is welcome.

Mark is/was a master at getting cool stuff for the GTG. I do not have his connections, so it will be a group effort.

If I have left something out or was unclear, Wes, please, chime in!

Speaking of Giveaways, you gents should reach out to Steve 'Lol-x' about performing the drawing for the current TFR giveaway at your meeting. Looks like you are going to have enough senior members there to perform/witness the drawing.

Steve might even drop by:

This is a great idea!

I just sent him an E-Mail to let him know about it and offer the opportunity to do the drawing. It would be great if he could come!

Possible Watch Drawing at GTG

Stephen has responded to me. He is busy with a case. There is very little chance that he can come.

The good news is his message:

"There is no reason why the draw cannot be done at the GTG anyway, even if I am not there as long as there are several respected members in attendance..."

I have never been part of a draw and that sounds exciting! Since, I found out about the draw after it was decided, I am also a disinterested observer.

Who is planning on being in BH on 12/01/18, for this important event, and then we can let the Boss decide.

How does one know if they are respected or not?
I am fairly sure my wife respects me. Is that good enough?
I will be showing up anyway and bringing a friend.
And although I know what a Daytona is, I am not exactly sure what is a Daytona drawing.
Please help.Thank you!
Respectfully,
