are you talking about 216570s? Or are 3186 16570s bringing that kind of coin now? that's near mint 216570 money, and i'm not sure why anyone would pick the older model over the new one, other than size. They aren't THAT rare. The 3185s can be had for around $5K in top notch condition.

Size is what keeps me from considering one.

I have a 2005 SEL, unpolished. My only observation is that the strap seems to have been heavily polished, and the SEL center link ridge seems lower than usual. The case has not be polished in my view and, is in excellent condition.

Congrats,! If it wasn't already done, one of the original pics looked like there was a loose screw sticking out by the clasp that needs to be tightened up

Seller said, that they lightly polished bracelet. Which for is me is OK. I was looking for unpolished case! :)

Nice piece, as long as you're happy that's the main thing.... enjoy.
Mine is an 'F' and it got plenty of wear in Milano a few years ago (my wife was seconded to JPM's Milan office, while I was helping to represent my (Mezzo Giorno) family's business at the EXPO), a lovely city, bravo!
