are you talking about 216570s? Or are 3186 16570s bringing that kind of coin now? that's near mint 216570 money, and i'm not sure why anyone would pick the older model over the new one, other than size. They aren't THAT rare. The 3185s can be had for around $5K in top notch condition.

Looks great. Have their watchmaker rotate the bezel a gnats wotzit clockwise and get that bought (I’m assuming they can do so).

I have a 2005 SEL, unpolished. My only observation is that the strap seems to have been heavily polished, and the SEL center link ridge seems lower than usual. The case has not be polished in my view and, is in excellent condition.

Congrats,! If it wasn't already done, one of the original pics looked like there was a loose screw sticking out by the clasp that needs to be tightened up

Mine is an 'F' and it got plenty of wear in Milano a few years ago (my wife was seconded to JPM's Milan office, while I was helping to represent my (Mezzo Giorno) family's business at the EXPO), a lovely city, bravo! |
