I doubt it. My IG quote - "sharing the passion"...

Someone asked me about removing patina. I told them I haven't needed to do so since the first "minor" soak in lemon juice & soda water I did right after the initial photos...

I did come across two great articles though which I shared with him:

Travelller,
Short version of long story, I bought a 5B two weeks ago but can not get to Europe and pick it up for another three weeks. How about a couple more posts and/or pictures to tide me over until October 18th???

I finally was able to pick up my new Bucherer Bronze Blue. Been wearing it now on the Nato strap off and on for about two weeks. First time I have ever had a nato on one of my watches. The nato is much more comfortable than I thought it would be. My local Tudor dealer here in New England Checked with Tudor USA and is allowed to order me two additional nato straps. I was told the wait on the new straps would be about two - three months and they were told by Tudor USA that I would have to supply the serial number of my watch.
The watch is big but not heavy, in fact for its size the 5B wears as a lightweight. The Lume on this watch is very good not as good as the Pelagos LHD but very good compared to the Rolex models I wear. My job puts me in a courthouse two three times a week and this is not by any means a watch for a suit but as a weekend watch with blue jeans this one stands out. My short version review of the 5B; a very nice watch I enjoy the limited allocation of this piece. So far the 5B has been a pleasure to wear, I am not sure the Nato strap will last all to long (I could be wrong) but this is why I ordered replacement(s).
I will try and give a better evaluation in a month or so after some regular use.

Congratulations are in order Glad to hear you're enjoying it and thanks for your personal input The only thing left (besides your follow-up) is a pic or three...

~~~
I meant to post these yesterday but I'm behind ... *sigh*
The publication in the background was recently given to me by Bucherer as a very nice gesture and contains a historical account of their product lines (classic, diver, military & chronograph) - I believe the same is available online but it's a real treat to have it in the oldskool format...
I have never posted a picture here on TRF, not sure how. Will make the effort to learn how and post a picture or two this weekend.
While we might have the same watch my photography skills are a far cry from the masterful shots you post. But I will give it a try.
Well I'll admit it too forever but I finally gave the OEM leather strap a try. It pairs nicely with the blue & bronze and it's a well-made strap The only downside is that it is amazingly stiff and would require quite a bit of time to break in...
I love it too from a pairing perspective but it’s too small for me.
We’re you able to order the blue straps. I have been extremely careful with the nato because I didn’t think I would be able to replace it. I would love to order a spare.
Amazing review too traveller missed this one mostly being on the other site ;)
IG has a tradition of posting your top nine, most-liked posts of the year.
I'm pleased to say that the 5B made a cameo appearance:
I also decided to review my posts and come up with my own Top9 of 2018 too. Of course, the 5B's included
Gorgeous watch! Any problems with the bezels on these? Not that I plan on diving with a watch that only comes on a leather strap or a NATO, but I do live near the ocean, and can see myself wearing it on the beach or boating, where it might get wet here and again.
Unfortunately there has been a few cases of "galvanic reaction" with these. I was sure it's a 100% Bronze issue but apparently it's also happened with the SS BlackBays too. This leads me (& others) to believe that some of Tudor's bezel-inserts weren't properly treated (coated?) so it's hard to give you an answer...
