Don’t think any would be a bad choice. Personally I would like the DD40 with Romans, but the diamond dial is beyond gorgeous

Platinum Daytona with the brown counter rings is my favorite. The watch heft is fantastic.

I never kid myself about "grail" watches. It's maybe a grail for you, until another one comes along.

Do you mean the Platinum Daytona with "brown subdials"? The dial is ice blue and brown not black. WTH are "chapter rings"?

My grail list is similar. I would go with the platinum Daytona no diamonds. I have a 36mm DD platinum now and was thinking about upgrading to the 40 DD diagonal motif but I tried on the Daytona and it is to die for on your wrist

Tough choice between the 1st Daytona and the DD40 ice dial. Nice problem to have!

I own the Daytona 116503 (New Model) with the White MOP 8 Diamonds Dial but to be realistic my next Watch is the full Y/G Daytona with the Green Dial I really think this Watch is beautiful

Platinum Daytona. Either one but probably sans diamonds.

I like the ice blue DD’s over the Daytona’s but honestly, I think I’d need to see these in actual pics or even in person. I don’t like these printed or computer enhanced images. They never do the details justice.

Also, I’d so much prefer a fluted bezel... personally.

Is the blue on the Daytona with diamonds different from the one without diamonds? I know the above are rendered pictures but the blue is not the same? All the DD40 Blue dials look the same color though.

Platinum Day Date with the Roman numerals. That’s the end game watch.

Platinum DD40 blue romans. I always admire that the most. Love the character the roman numerals add and the four section pattern dial. The final solution..

DD w/romans for me, please. But only because I have a DJ with diamond markers. Otherwise, the DD w/diamonds. I tried a gold one with diamonds a couple of weeks ago, and my knees went all wobbly . . . .
