The better choice is the one you like.

Those who claim that one is better for this or that are just expressing their personal opinion.

There is no opinion better than your own in this matter.

As stated previously, it depends on personal taste, however, I think the smooth bezel looks more refined and understated and would make a classy dress watch. Don't get me wrong, the fluted bezel is fabulous (I have one in wg) and is perfect for any attire.

To each his own but I prefer fluted. Something old school about it that attracts me to it.

Salud!

Somehow I am conditioned to think that dome looks good only on the platinum DD with the glacier blue dial but I don't fancy the platinum much (not that I can justify the price of getting one anyway LOL). I like fluted with YG, the way it catches light especially under the sun is amazing...glitter glitter glitter...I can even see the glitter wearing sunglasses.

I would say if you want to notch the presence down a level go for dome, if you want to go all out then choose the fluted.

Bark for me!

From the two you have there, I'd have to go with the fluted if I had to choose between them...

They are BOTH lookers!

Fluted for dressier, domed for more casual look. I reckon that fluted goes wellwith the jubilee bracelet whilst the domed with the oyster.

None of the above!
Something is just not right in the above photo! maybe its a funny angle. It looks like an after market dial and bezel.

Generally I like a fluted bezel but in this case I'd go with the smooth bezel.
