The 114060 is my favorite Sub and is currently my only Rolex after owning a Datejust, a Datejust2, two Day Dates, a SubC Date, and a Cellini Date. I'm not a fan of green watches and I prefer the clean simplicity of the 114060 dial without a date window. I prefer to just remember the date. I'm retired so nobody much cares if I get the date wrong.

Which SS Submariner Ceramic model is the best and why?

To my mind that changed the watch from tool to fashion accessory. Nothing wrong with that per se, but when changing the design to suit a trend (bigger watch trend, but not actually committing to that) that’s not classic in my eyes. Classic stays the same, because it’s an icon and still looks fantastic despite the others changing.

Correct. But Rolex is not PF. They make provably a million watches they sell to all kind of people. They even had to go the SD43 way to bridge Deep sea with other subs.

If it’s one and only one, I’d say the subC date but a very close second is the LV

I agree.

all are perfect, comes down to the one you want to wear each day.

for me i prefer no date so that limits my choices however i wore a submariner (16613 blue) with a date for 20 years as my only watch and enjoyed every minute of it.

The LVc if part of a collection. The LNc if stand alone piece.

The green gold sunburst dial and chameleon nature of the LVc make it hands down my favorite modern 6 digit Rolex. Pictures do not do this piece justice. Must be enjoyed in the flesh.

Although I love the LVc, black with date is the classic, most versatile choice for me.

Love both my LN and LV but the black sub is for daily and the Hulk is my favorite of the two.

The Submariner for me. I do miss the date function but I rather have the aesthetic appeal and symmetry of the dial. I'm simply not a fan of a cyclops on a diver's watch.

Hulk is awesome but the green would get old after awhile. I guess it would work as part of a large collection.

No Date but I’m biased.

They’re all great.

116610LN for me. The black Sub is more versatile than green and the date function is a must for me.

Clearly it’s the SDC4K 116600 , in lieu of that, I’d say the LVC!
