Something you can put in your signature line if you own the model as a way of letting others know you own it.

Unexpectedly added the SD43 today, wasn't expecting to get the call but I'm thrilled to have gotten it. It's been a Sea-Dweller year for me, added a spectacular MKIV DRSD at the beginning of the year, and today the SD43!

You nailed it. Any owner can freely use it on their signature or post it to a new owner. Just copy/paste the owners card link pic.
It’s just forum fun for us WIS. I like to make one up if there isn’t any for a particular watch. The Hulk owners card was used a lot so I felt compelled to make one up for the new SD43.

Oh drool on that DRSD ... makes the new one look tame.

Love that domed crystal. That double-red looks to be in fantastic condition.

Congrats on both!

The SD43 Official Owners Thread

Anyone else notice the raised and gloss red font of “Sea Dweller”? Pretty amazing when you zoom in, especially when set against the matt black dial.

Also - daylight lume off the charts right after being in the sun and entering garage

Haven’t heard anyone else talking about how that single red line is raised and glossy!

Love the dial.

Got mine few months ago.... I can't wait, so I paid a little extra as I know I would not have a chance to get one from AD. I'm happy nonetheless coz I got it from DavidSW. Great customer service.

Added this recently. It's a great watch, and I enjoy wearing it! Love the red text.

Icon14 Ultimately the Rolex!

I got this so called Mark II dial one from AD in Tokyo last month and am enjoying it almost everyday. I also have 14060M, 16570 and 116200 and owned 116710LN before but, believe this SD43 is ultimately the Rolex!

I acquired an SD43 by luck not long ago and essentially have not taken it off my wrist since. I admire it often and keep saying to myself that this may be the perfect watch for me.

Happy to be a part of the club!

Picked up an SD43 Mark I while on vacation – Unexpectedly

I managed to walk into an AD in NJ while on vacation earlier this month. We didn't have much time for window shopping but did managed to drop in quickly since it was literally on the way out of town. The selection of sports models was sparse. They did have a Smurf in the case, and I decided to inquired about the SD43 and new DSSD D-blue models. I was just looking to see either in person and feel them.

I'd been to another AD location in ME a couple of days earlier and they also had a Smurf in the case but nothing else of interest... sports model-wise - to me anyway. I don't think I inquired about either SD model there.

The NJ AD salesman said they just got a shipment of Rolexes in and he hadn't looked though them yet. He went to look and came back with an SD43 in hand. I wasn't planning on a purchase but rather just window shopping and data collecting since we were on a tight schedule and I was looking much further out for any purchase.

I tried it on, showed it to my partner and discussed it. He said buy it if I want to.... and probably something like you know you want it anyway. So, after some serious thinking, and head nodding between the two of us and knowing that everyone talks about the inability to find them, being on a waiting list, etc., I left with it in hand...

I sized it myself several days later when I had the time, opportunity and, of course, Prime shipped some tools to where we were staying. I removed the diver's expansion link as well to get the right fit.

It has an awesome feel and fit. For its size, I really don't notice it on the wrist.

Regards!

I'm very happy to be part of this SD43 club, for me the most handsome modern diver Rolex! I have 17cm (6.7") wrist and feel very comfortable with this ref, and the diver extension is on because I love to have it!
