111 or 005 ?

I'm thinking of adding a hand-wound Luminor Marina back to the collection. I previously had a 111, but now the 005 has caught my eye as well...

So, what do the panel think? Another 111, or go for the 005 instead this time?

Thanks!

There's something to be said for changing things up and getting something different, but, btw those two, I prefer the 111. Can't go wrong with either.

I'm liking both the sandwich dial & clear caseback between the two, so I vote for the 111.

Good luck!

I assumed u had neither before so I voted 111, if you've already had a 111 and sold it, you must have not loved it enough to keep it.... I'd say go 005 to try something diff. What about the patina'd se version of 005 with pig and solid case back? Sorry I forget the reference number.

That's a tough one. Sandwich dial and exhibition case back vs. the logo.

I voted 111.

I think the 111 is the better one between the two. Exhibition case back (people who don't know about watches love the movement), sandwich dial (looks fancier), and lack of logo (looks cleaner) are all pros to me.

Thanks guys, much appreciated

The 111 will be coming back at some point, hopefully sooner than later, but for now I am working on some other 'incomings' ...more soon...

Another thing to consider on the 111, Clive, is painted vs. sandwich. If you are like me and prefer sandwich on Rads, you could look to get an earlier series 111 (I forget the year they made the switch, sorry).

I'm considering a 111 myself, so I'm biased.

My case is similar but....

I just read this poll and please!! would like to know how to do to put my case in voting! Or if all of you friends answer directly welcome !!
My case is 111 or 113?
I really like both .. I like the 113 but I think fashion is more representative of the brand and the 111. Are saying?
I would also like to see the time when I am driving at night which is impossible with my Rolex Submariner

E-G 111, preference for the G.

Painted dials just work on the 44mm Luminor!

Painted dial G on the right. Those fat numbers just work!

Here is a 112 side by side sammy v paint. Not my pic, found on the webs. FAT numbers
