Mostly AP's, Pam SE's, and a bunch of Rolex, all modern, don't have a clue about the classic stuff.
Re Rolex.....I have BLNR, BLRO, Rosegold Rootbeer, Sub date, SD43, Skydweller blue dial, Hulk, Daytona 116500 Black dial. |

I’m going to guess white dial Daytona or TT Rootbeer.

The new incoming is from a trusted UK seller not my AD sadly as the whole group has zero stock of this piece. Had a TT Rootbeer for a week, went back to my AD when my all Rosegold Rootbeer came in. No point having both. |

Arrived this morning but only just got the chance to open the box and take this baby out.
I think this one has gone top of my favourites list. Its a stealth bomber of watches. My rosegold rootbeer almost draws too much attention and I often find myself trying to hide it when I'm wearing it. Unless you're a Rolex guy, this one just looks like a steel GMT from afar. When you get near it you realise it has almost a champagne whiteness to it and somehow the polished areas are even more mirror like than the steel pieces. When held it just feels immense. Top draw and a wolf in sheeps clothing. A lot has been said about the blue dial. I think its absolutely wonderful and one of the reasons I was sold on this watch. I'd call the blue almost an airforce blue. Not dark enough to be mistaken for black. And not the in-your-face blue found on the smurf (no offence to smurf owners). Its spot on in my view. I think there's a lot of milage to this watch. Because of the blue it can be worn casually with jeans etc, but due to the sheen and the level of finish it can also be used as a dress watch IMO. Big thanks to Finwatch and his great pick up thread. This is your fault brother lol. Time for the stickers to come off. Finally for those that have never had a PM watch. See below the weight difference between this and the BLRO. |
