I have two favorites that I wouldn’t be able to choose between them.

116710 BLNR
116500 Daytona C- White

I’m fortunate enough to own both of them.

I am looking forward to picking up my 126660. I feel like I have been waiting forever. My perfect Rolex line up will be SD43, DSSD JC 126660 and the White SS Sky dweller. At that point I think I will move on and start looking at AP.

Funny but a year ago I never thought I’d agree with you ... fast forward to now, and I’m with you

never thought I would say this.... but....it's the Explorer 214270 (MK2).....ridiculously accurate, great legibility and supremely comfortable... timeless style..... no bling (under the radar....where do you get a Rolex radar anyway?).....great tool watch.... tough as nails yet dresses up beautifully... works with me in every way.... I enjoy my GMT2c but if I had to pick one, then it would be the Explorer. Could it be improved? Sure...cosmetically... it would be nice to see improved lume... I would love a "red" Explorer text..... and a smaller version of the glidelock clasp would be the icing on the cake... maybe one day....

It's very hard to identify any particular reference. Even the humble Explorer 1 excites me as much as the SS SkyD and Daytona, which is great cos I don't want to have to unload any of them.

Modern Rolex currently in production would be the EXPII polar.

I'm a simple man with simple tastes. I'll just take the three-hander with a black rotating bezel.
