Travel case for Submariner

I am looking for advice on a small quality travel case for a Submariner.
I was thinking of this Rapport case in the attached pictures.
Does anyone know if it is able to protect a Sub carried in a backpack and will it fit the Sub properly.
Thank you for any advice.

Are you looking for something convenient to quickly take the watch out? This seems quite chunky for a backpack already.

Many flat cases can be had but where bracelets need to be detached depending on your watch.

Don't know for the sub specifically.

Was thinking of something like this.

Hi, definitely looking for something that I can use quickly to just put the watch in before doing things like going through airport security, etc
I like the size of the flat packs, but i need something which will prevent bracelet scratches and can be used quickly.

Try to find an Oakley watch vault. It's perfect for what you're looking for.

This. Ball up a small microfiber cloth in the middle of the bracelet to keep everything snug and you’re good to go.

Everest makes a nice one that pulls out, although a bit pricier than most but it’s worth checking out

Roll up a small microfiber towel and put the watch on it as if the towel were your wrist. Then fold the ends of the towel around the outside of the watch. Stuff the whole thing in a Ziploc bag.

Better protection than these fancy cases.

Takes ten seconds, costs virtually nothing, and doesn't attract attention.

another vote for the Oakley watch vault. I also put my watch
around a piece of foam, then I put it in a padded fly reel case.

I believe Rolex used to make it in leather vs. suede.

This one is from Bulang & sons, but several brands have a similar style:

Being a feequent flyier, and For speed, I actually use a small sports sock, ankle length, I put the sock over my fingers, then put my sub over the sock, then fold over, so no metal to metal contact, then put in my top left zipped jacket pocket. Wallet goes in another zipped pocket, phones in another etc. Then I put my jacket folded on the tray for scanning, I never put anything loose on the tray.

It's very easy at some airports to 'loose' belongings from the tray. A coat or bag unlikely.

Also supper quick to put back on, and the sock has zero bulk in the pocket.

I’m sure it is some sort of sacrilege, but the red cases from Omega after service make perfect single watch travel cases.

I've used a lined hard shell eyeglasses case and keep a small eyeglasses microfiber cloth in there as well. Works great and didn't really cost me anything. I've had several since they always give me one and I never use them for my glasses (except my Rx sunglasses) because they are always on my face if I'm not sleeping ;-)

I have used and still use from time to time the factory clear plastic Rolex "coffin" box along with a felt material made jewelers pouch to wrap the watch in, fits very nicely.

Thank you for the generous feedback.
I just ordered a casebudi and I am on the lookout for one of the Oakley cases (which seem to be out of production).
Both much better choices than the case I was looking at. I just feel in love with the leather and beautiful suede, over the size and functionality.

Nope. I either don't take it off, or just throw it in my bag.

Same here ... and I regularly go through some "dubious" airports in my travels.

I use those hard snap shut glasses cases for my watches. They sell at walmart for $5. I first wrap the watch in a sun glass cloth. then, i place the case in my pocket. works for me. i have 5 of these cases. i also use them to hide my watches in the house. no wait, my watches are in a safe. i dont have any watches anyway.

I use a CaseBudi. I've never traveled with more than one watch. I just take my watch off, put it in the CaseBudi, slip that in my laptop bag, then go through security. No worries!
