Easylink - do you wear it retracted or extended?

Just curious to see what works best for most people. Mine is currently extended for daily wear, it just seems to make the watch fit more comfortably.

Mine is set to be closed. So I can open it when required in warmer conditions.

I rotate back and forth a lot.

But I size it to have the link closed.

I adjust the bracelet with it “in”... I use the micro adjustment to get the fit I like, and on the very few instances throughout the year that I need to I deploy the easy link. If the micro adjustments don’t give you the right fit, perhaps buy a 1/2 link.

Adjusted mine with it in. I seldom have to extend it.

This is exactly what I do — most are opened right now with the summer heat an humidity.

I leave it extended on my Daytona too. Seems to fit perfectly (just a little loose, the way I like) and I never notice significant differences in my wrist size. Even my sub with glidelock seems to stay in the same position year round.

I set mine for "in" so I can let it out as needed.

1 link out + middle hole micro-adjust + closed easy-link = my perfect fit

Sized mine for closed when normal sized, so I can have quick relief after a hard day consuming beer and salty snacks

Wearing it extended all the time kind of defeats the purpose of it.

Almost always out... It's the best length for me including switching links out... And it's ever so slightly loose. So I can fold it in if necessary.

I live in Asia where it’s mostly hot...so I keep it extended. This is in case I travel to a place where it’s cold.

Size to have the link closed. So when it’s hot you can expand it.

Exactly this - wish I didn't have to but it's the only way my GMT and Daytona fit the way I like.

Me too, closed when it’s cool and open when it’s hot and my wrist swells, to the extent possible I size my watches so this strategy works.

Open most of the time it’s very warm and humid here, close when it’s cold or I need to move a lot

You’re supposed to wear it retracted (normally) thus giving you the option of extending it when your wrist becomes swolen.
