Martha's Vineyard + Falmouth

We went up to Cape Cod for an extended weekend, and it was as scenic as I imagined.

First up was Martha's Vineyard by way of Falmouth / Woods Hole. Weather held up for us!

Great pics! Did you see any sharks besides the one mounted on the side of the building?

You’ll be able to buy a Daytona with all those frequent flyer miles you’re racking up!
Looks like a nice time. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome pictures! What do you shoot with again? I know you’ve answered this question in the past but I can’t remember if it was a fujifilm or Leica …

No sharks! My wife was really hoping to see one on the shore after I showed her the one that washed up on the Cape a few years back.

Thanks for the kind words! It's a Fuji x100v. It's my 2nd x100 in the series and I don't think I'll go to anything else. Love them!

I’ve never been to the north east costal areas. It looks beautiful however. Always enjoy seeing your travels. Thanks for sharing

Jesse, I have read many of your threads and must ask... What do you do that allows you all of the travel?

Hey Paul - I'm a work-from-home consultant.

We're not rich by any means when compared to many on TRF - but we're wealthy with our time, and my company is great at allowing it.

We're taking them on a little 4 day cruise this weekend, so they'll get theirs.

Great pics! Looks like you found some great food at Nancy’s. The best bay scallops I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back.

That’s a great trip.

You should consider the nearby South Coast (also known as the Farm Coast). It is a few beautiful towns on the Mass/RhodemIsland border sandwiched between Newport and Cape Cod. The towns are Westport and Dartmouth, MA and Little Compton and Tiverton, RI. They are right up against Newport RI as I mentioned and short drives from a few cities (Providence, Fall River and New Bedford)

It’s essentially the same coastline and scenery you had but with no traffic, backed up bridges or ferries and no gridlock to drive anywhere after you get there

Not much better than Martha’s Vineyard in September. Nantucket too. I have so many fond memories in both. Great to see you got out on bikes on MV. I recognize so many of these exact locations.

Thanks for sharing! Looks like y’all had a great time
