Omega 2254.50 discounts?
Talked to an AD at the Tourneau in Atlantic City, NJ yesterday concerning a 2254.50. He didn't have one in stock but told me he would have one in on Tuesday for me (with no obligation on my part). What kind of discounts have others received on Omegas? I'm thinking of asking 10% as I'm going to have to make a second trip since he didn't have it in stock. Am I out of line?
He have the Blue face (2255.80) in stock and 2 Quartz Black Divers (2264.50) but for $2000 there's no way on Earth I'd buy a Quartz. |

Ron,
I'm sure discounts are different in different areas, but you should be able to do a bit better than that IMHO. Omegas can be had for about 30% or so (sometimes a bit better) with a bit of shopping around. |

In support of Mike's response ....an online grey market dealer (Alan Furman) offers this watch at a 32% discount.

I appreciate the quick replies.
Unfortunately, the AD I purchased my Rolex from no longer sells Omegas. So, I'm giving the Tourneau in Atlantic City a try. (By the way, I did OK at the Blackjack Tables at Trump Marina so it WAS a great trip all around ) I'm aware of Alan Furman's price (the lowest price I've seen anywhere) but I like to support AD's as well as receive the correct warranty. I will definately mention I could spend my money elsewhere for less. |
