Spider dial

Hi guys!

Is that dial a "Spider dial"?

That is a 5513 made in 1987...

Tank you!

Yep, that's a spider web dial in it's genesis....some folks claim it as a special ($) anomaly however it is not.
IMO.

Ouch!
It is special, because no two are the same.
It may not be a big dollar collectible though.
For the right price they are certainly an interesting piece.
I have had a dealer want mine, why? Because as he said, I don't have one.
I still think it is worth more than one with a luminova service dial?
The defect on the OP's is quite different to my mangy dog sub 😉
One thing for sure, is no one has a sub like mine.

Not the typical spider IMO that we see in this forum. I would say a "different" dial, which shows some water damage caussed in the past. It depends if it will remain as such or the next step will be flakes falling off. Only my opinion after having experienced such a damage. Now concerning the "like it" or not, it depands on each individual taste.
