No, not yet. I have a recipe box from my paternal grandmother & half of the recipes are in Danish, written in pencil in cursive. It's been a project trying to transcribe, then translate the contents of this box.

Wow...that's uh, some challenge there...but would be pretty interesting to get that translated. Any Danes in your community..?? Fortunately for me, my wife is Danish..I'm an 'adopted' Dane...

Just a quick 4.5hr drive to the Danish community of Solvang: https://maps.app.goo.gl/b5N7sGR9VPDAUU6p7

Maybe someone at that restaurant could translate it providing they've got enough akvavit & good enough bifocals.

Been to Solvang.. great town. Yeah, the akvavit is a must for proper vision and translations..lol...!!
I'm trying to recall if we know anyone in Solvang. We have connections in the PNW DK communities.. I could check with my wife...!
