Enough to say "full set"?

I have not owned this since new, so I can't be sure what it came with, and I know people can be sensitive about the term. Would you find it objectionable if I called this a "full set" in a listing?

Sure as heck looks like it to me. Not sure if others would require original sales receipt, but I would think full set is not misleading if used in this instance.

I wouldn't - but some pedants might say a wallet, calendar and translation are needed to be wholly replete. - but of course that's 50 'singles', tops , for those 3 bits - nice A / U 'swiss' piece btw :^}

I don't believe those were included in the USA sets during that time period.

Looks like a complete set to me Dan. "A" serial numbers wouldn't have the vinyl folio and calendar in the USA.
Instead they had the semi-cardboard Rolex sleeve that held the warranty paper -which I see depicted in your set.

So sorry, I am over the pond, stand corrected for the US market!

Great, that's good to know. Thank you, JP. Yes, I have the green sleeve with the cut-out window to show the serial and reference numbers.

There you go, my mistake... excellent info thanks - yes, jogs my memory that I think we didn't get the window sleeve cardboard wallet in EU.

Full enough for me, but as above the wallet and calendar would be nice.

If you want to be super-anal, you'll need the green caseback sticker stuck to the front of the wallet...And the original sales receipt...And the model number sticker on the outside of the cardboard box...And all service records...And a letter from the family of the original owner...And sepia photos of him wearing it on a boat in SCUBA gear...

Oops, I forgot the polishing cloth that was hiding in the inner box. :-)

If you were listing it here on TRF as a full set, it would get a pass with just the boxes, paper, two booklets and red tag.
