Shattering is rare, what happens when plexi ages is that it degrades and gets micro cracks. That is the real problem. If you service your watches regularly and have the plexi replaced it should be fine.

I too wear all my plexiglass Rolex(s) everywhere all the time, but moisture can seep in.

I’ve never had any shatter.
