Would love to see Patek flexing the muscles and doing something like this.
At the same time, I really value that I can sense where Patek is going and that they will likely never go out of fashion.

Nothing wrong with a bit of code
Big move coming with a new line and what the plans are for it and what does this mean for production in general. Things getting increased or more older models being discontinued to allow these to be made.
fantastic times

I'd very much like it in blue or even green.

Likely an official replacement to the '96 reference line. It will be larger and have an exhibition caseback.

He's using logic. Patek would likely replace the '96 line-up and based on the more recent 6119, with the new larger manual cal. and display caseback, it is likely any new '96 will get the same treatment as well.

No one ever truly knows what is coming out next until it does. Or potentially a day or two earlier if its leaked.

Certainly no one on this forum knows so asking is pointless.

Your guess is as good as his

I heard similar, with less detail, from the local AD. 5711 replacement (with no specifics) coming out.

I conede that it is logical, but my comment was based on what my Patek AD told me when I collected my PP earlier this year. So not a guess, but trust in their word. Plus, as you say, PP will definitely reintroduce a '96 ref although an exhibition caseback and larger size is, IMO, not fitting to the reference at all and would be negatives to a purist collector like myself.

but the bigger size and clear case back would this just be like 6119

Definitely interested in a 5196 replacement especially if the new movement and open caseback. Much more so than any potential Nautilus replacement line or continuation.

A 37-38mm time-only calatrava with a micro-rotor would be cool as well...

My AD never share any release info with me but I hope for more Nautilus and Aquanaut.
