BLNR to Snoopy 50th Trade

What do you think about trading Batgirl with Snoopy 50th ?
Both watches are Nib.

I would consider the trade.
You might need to add some cash to complete the trade.

Yes! BLNR is less rare compared to the snoopy. But I prefer the jubilee/oyster bracelet over the strap.

Cash will definitely be needed to trade I expect - if not, it’s a no brainier value wise. I’d consider it too, especially if I had other Rolex watches as well.

I would do it in a heartbeat, especially if you don’t have to add any cash!

Just depends on what the cash add is on top of the BLNR. If straight across, do it yesterday lol. You can buy a BLNR grey for a lot less than a Snoopy if you want to replace it later. Now, if I could only pick on the of two to own forever I’d go BLNR since I think the black dial is more versatile than the Snoopy, but if you have multiple pieces in the collection the Snoopy is special and very hard to get at retail. Let us know what you decide!

the trade value aspect aside (i'm sure you'll work through that) i'd much rather a snoopy in the collection vs a BLNR. Just a cool watch the snoopy

Dealer asks +1k usd. Sounds good to me also, doubted on giving Rolex & getting Omega.

I love my BLNR and I would consider doing this in an instant if not for the sentimental value. I bought it for a special work promotion years ago. I don’t have a Snoopy yet but hope to be able to get one off of OB.

It seems an excellent deal to me.

Snoopy is around 28K
BLNR is around 20K

Even if you consider a fluctuation of 2K, you will still get a pretty good deal.

I would do it.

Putting it slightly differently...I'd much rather be sitting around wondering how to get my hands on another BLNR than getting a 50th Snoopy...and in 6/12/whatever months the 50th is discontinued...you'll be especially happy to be wondering about that question....

?$1K. I'd source a BLNR right now just to do that trade. Be sure it's real.

Dear friends
I have done the trade , 2022 BLNR NIB + 1k usd = 2022 Snoopy NIB full set. My target was one to one
trade with BLNR but the dealer instisted for additional 1K.

FYI, i have paid 20k for the BLNR on Feb 2022. So my cost for the Snoopy is 21K.
First opinion is It feels like a more colllectable piece than the BLNR..

Hope getting another BLNR at much cheaper price in the future.

If your Moonwatch is the 3861, def go for the bracelet swap. BUT, if it's the older style bracelet from the 1861, I don't recommend. The flanks will scratch the lugs and those scratches can be more like deep imprints if given enough time. Stick with the 3861 bracelet only for the top dog.

I might be inclined to do it
Though I see it's the Silver Snoopy and not the 50th, which makes it an even better deal. IMO

Quite correct
My apologies to the group

On occassion, I do wonder if I'm losing it

Anyway, my sentiments remain unchanged and am very glad the OP has made the jump. I hope the OP has many happy years with it
