This is it

Well, the verdict is almost in. The three watches that made it are the current models of Submariner Date, Sea Dweller and GMT II. Numbers four and five were the SS Daytona and Explorer I. Out of these three you have to choose the TRF Rolex of all time. You don’t need to comment on your choice but it would be nice.

Funny, I was just looking at some holiday pics when we were in the Bahamas. I was wearing my 16610.

I also had a GMT II and an Explorer II at home. Now they're all gone I was also trying to decide which one I miss most. It was between the Sub and the GMT II. I think the sub wins.

I guess I would vote for the 16610, but something tells me the 'dweller will win.

I will have another one!

Although I am a newbie by Rolex.. I choose the Sea Dweller as it's presence and heft are so impressive.

I chose the 16610. Not that I don't like the SD or GMTII because I love them both. I'm just partial to the Sub Date.

BTW Bruce you are WHITE man.

OMG...that son of yours is the cutest sight on earth, Bruce. He can just thank his lucky stars that he's nowhere around me....or else he would have been squashed, smothered and plastered with kisses from his bald Uncle JJ. He is just too bloody cute and chubby!!

Getting down the the topic on hand, I voted for the 16610...always said that that is the ultimate Rolex....given a choice between those 3, the Sub-date gets my vote, although having owned the other 2, I'd say any one of those 3 watches is a winner!!

Thanks JJ! It's amazing how much different he looks now being almost 14 months compared to 6 when that pic was taken. I kinda miss that big toothless grin he had back then!
