Today Is The Day!
Fired up the cooker at 6:30. 40 lbs of Kingsford standard briquets for a starter base. Will add lump and wood once it white's over.

Spouse is making iced tea, lemonade and pies.

Friends on the way over with ham biscuits.

Red Raspberry Pie
Spouse picked last year and froze the berries.

She just made the pie. Going in the oven now.

If I try and sample it, I am in big trouble.

Off to put some wood on the fire.

As always, the day got away from me. But it turned out great. Thanks to family and friends who carried a lot of the load.
