116619LB Submariner

Is there anyone on here that has the white gold Submariner 116619LB?

If so, may I ask a question.....

Thanks guys. My question was how heavy does it feel compared to one of the SS subs? Is there much of a weight difference on the wrist?

It’s definetly heavier. Side by side to a stainless sub you will notice the weight difference. Once it’s on it’s kind of like when you put socks on. First you notice you have socks on. After awhile you don’t even notice it. You get used to it.

I don't own one but I held one last week. Pretty hefty, but I can't imagine it would bother you or anything.

Great timepiece. You get the heft without the looks of YG. Pretty cool.

it is 228-229 grams
ss sub is 160 grams

so compared to the ss sub it is 43% heavier. you will notice.

for comparison the platinum daytona is 286 grams which is like wearing a subc and a 5 digit sub on one wrist. now then, enjoy the heft.

This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I currently wear the YG version and it is noticeably heavier for awhile. Kind of reminds me of when I first put on the new sea dweller.

I love the heft. Total amazeballs. It is an "acquired" taste! HA!

Go find one and try it on. You have many fine watches. You will notice the difference immediately.

Also Rolex PM's are the best priced luxury PM's out there. What would any solid gold (any flavor) on a bracelet run from AP, VC or Patek?

Go give it a shot.

116619LB Submariner

I was very surprised at the weight when I first purchased mine. I wasn’t expecting it, and had no idea gold was so much heavier than SS. To be honest, I really didn’t like the weight at first. After two weeks, you won’t even notice it and It will become the new norm. It’s an amazing watch and I highly recommend it.

I love mine. The weight feels good in your hand but you don't feel it on your wrist. You won't be disappointed.

Feel the same about it.... On the same day I bought my BLNR I had the opportunity to feel them both on my hands and I can say that you can definitely feel the difference.

It's my favorite Rolex. If you can, go for it. You won't regret it.

It feels like it weighs double or more as it does feel really different at first, but in reality the difference is only 50%, 220g and 150g. And if you wear the WG for a solid ten minutes when you pick up the SS you will think gravity has disappeared.
