Hope there's good news to be heard tomorrow about the future of APH. CVSI is still chugging along and reported a MONSTER quarter.

Agreed, like CVSI a lot, except for announcing a reverse split - that I’m not crazy about.

Yep. I honestly thought it would be APH, if not them - then Aurora. Happy for Hydropothecary nonetheless, it should be a decent catalyst for the entire sector.

No. There is no way that I was expecting this.

Still love cannabis as a long term investment though. We will see how this goes after legalization in Canada is implemented.

I think the US is close behind for full legalization or rescheduling on a federal level and that too I would not have predicted so soon.

Yes. This is a long term hold.

Sit tight. It’s going to be just fine.

I’m still super confident. No doubts here.

Ditto. Not much you can do but hold through Summer (a/k/a cannabis death zone) until rec revs start trickling through. Frustrating...Absolutely, but then again, Adult use is not legal until Oct 17th, so not much to do or say until then. Suspect September will be more to everyone’s liking. Until then, we just have to wait it out.

Painful to watch today.

But the strong will prevail.

Hold on. All will be well in time.

Ontario’s announcement pertaining to privatizing stores and being strictly online until April 2019 didn’t help. IMHO, it’s better than the half-assed plan from before Ford, but what do I know...
Also, Canopy, the undisputed market leader, showed a large loss on their earnings report today. That isn’t helping either. Retail investors tend to panic sell on news like this, thats what we are seeing.

This has been a painful experience for me.

I still am a huge proponent of legalizing cannabis but wow,, just wow I am holding bags. The dilution is nuts. It is like nobody has any concern for shareholders.

ACB, AUR, Canopy, MARI and MPX. Brutal.

I am not sure I understand this.

Can you elaborate?

stock ownership can be diluted through secondary offerings, preferred convertible stock, convertible debt, warrants or employee compensation.

usually everything excluding secondary offerings is proffered in the 10Q or 10K.

classic example is a stock like rxii or shak. which i shorted for years successfully based on information contained within the filings.

small cap biotech is by far the worst "investment" in the market on average. for every one stock that hits 29 of them fail. you may as well go to vegas and play a 00 roulette wheel. some will disagree with me but that is my opinion.

Got it.

That’s a great explanation and it’s appreciated.

Thanks.

my portfolio just jumped 16% today. Still down 36% but refreshing to see that it's going up a little.
