Early Clasp Codes
Hi,
I've just seen an old 1655 from 1973 (3.7xx) which looks very legit. However, there is no code on the clasp (78360 bracelet). My understanding was that all claps before 1976 had the year engraved in the clasp? Anybody can help here? |

Yes, post pics please. But Rolex stopped stamping bracelet codes for a period in the early 70's.
I have seen 3/72 for example, but don't recall ever seeing a stamp much later than that until a 1/76 stamp, then of course Rolex moved to the numbers, A being 1976). Hope this helps |
