Help identifying vintage Rolex
I've had this watch for a while. It's 38 mm and was manufactured in 1948. Does anyone know the name or model number of the watch. It looks like the dial was refinished at some point. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

It looks like someone refinished the lugs with a file. I'm trying to understand if there some reason to believe that this is actually a Rolex. Can you perhaps show more photos?

Looks like it (if even Rolex) started life as a 4157. Do you have any movement pics and inside case back? Should just pop off (caseback) From the lug shape more likely redialed Tudor, someone is always trying to up value Rolex cheaper cousin https://assets.catawiki.nl/assets/20...a824bf3c02.jpg
