is this rolex fake?

hoping you guys can help, im considering purchasing this rolex, has no papers and im not the best at telling if its real any help appreciated

yea it does have one however this is dissconected from the movement hence the knock down price its going for

Yes. That's an ugly fake.

Small children should not see that watch as it's so horrible.

In which case you might want to google "ETA 2836"

What you're looking at is a wristwatch equivalent of a old Rolls Royce with a Chevy V8 under the bonnet.

With assumption that the body & chassis were even authentically built in Crewe... or possibly just China :(

They are not genuine ETAs in these fakes. They're copy ETAs.

There's nothing Swiss in that watch, unless a Chinese child worker has dropped a piece of Toblerone into the movement. :D
