I'm Thinking of Cheating
Since I purchased my Sub four years ago I have only thought of Rolex.
Lately, though, while helping a buddy find a leather strap Omega, I found myself drawn to the leather strap Aqua Terra pictured below. In person, it really pops! My wandering eye made me wonder about getting a leather strap Rolex. Does anyone have a picture to share of the SS Datejust 41 white dial, black dial, or blue dial/fluted bezel on a leather strap? |

The Aqua Terra is a beautiful watch and great on a lot of different straps. I've since sold my AT but I miss it. If you do get one don't buy new...they go pretty low used.

Are you thinking about cheating Rolex or cheating the Oyster bracelet? I've cheated before and I go back to Rolex... but it is a different case because my first love was Omega. In any case, go for it but do it convinced.

The Aqua Terra line has something for everyone IMO....a bit too diverse but that's not always bad, I always feel like a lot of non-Omega fans take well to the AT line for this reason. Not a bad looking choice OP.

There are tons of AT models. I liked the one in the picture above just okay when seeing the picture. But, in the store it really came alive with warmth and depth. Seeing that watch in person got me more excited than any Rolex I saw in person. |

Branching out to other brands is a great thing, and I think there is probably no better two-watch/two-brand collection than a Submariner and an AquaTerra (but maybe I feel that way because that is exactly the core of my collection).
With that combo you have two different brands, two different styles of watch, two different strap/bracelet options, etc. I say go for it - cheat! |
