Sorry to jump into the conversation, just a quick question, I have an opportunity to buy the 5711 from a grey dealer, can the warranty be transferred from the owner to my name? If not does it matter if i buy the watch with the warranty under another person's name? Thank you

At this rate, you might as well just tell the next generation to go collect it themselves!

Haha! Brilliant.

I'll make sure to leave a receipt for my son. Just hope he doesn't toss it away.

Recently went to the London Patek Salon with a friend. We were told they have now closed the waiting lists for all Nautilus models except for 5711/1R.

Warranty stays with the watch. If you purchase from another owner and there is still time on the warranty then warranty is in full effect.

Not hard to get, same for RG Aquanauts

I don't think that's right or how Patek wants the market to operate.
No offense Brian, but he is complaining not getting any special pieces, but he got 2 5131's, 5575, he is getting an enamel watch for wife or daughter, I don't see in what he is not getting special pieces, all these are special, and maybe I missed a few others special pieces, but these 4 I know he has, of course he is a huge PP client, but I think there are quite many huge PP clients, seems to me that he is getting treated fairly by his AD, oh and forgot all the gifts . About the London exhibition pieces sure maybe they proritize local buyers, but for me Jamie has gotten him quite a nice pack of special pieces

I've been told the same thing earlier this month. Also the retail prices will increase with 5.5% from September.

And I understand that they are close to closing the list for the 5711/1R-001 also...

I buy very little from Salons. They a great place to try on all the pieces, look at strap options and get some swag but a waste for mere mortals to try and source anything from them although I know of 1 incoming soon on 5711 blue from Patek London Salon.

Indeed as Karl said I have a blue 5711/1A paid for and waiting for me at the London salon, luckily the store manager kept her promise and got me one before 1st Sept 5.5% price increase. Also with the salon you get the first service included in the price which im very happy about.

Cheers

I was going to add that only guys in pilot outfits get sped through the waitlist and us "good looking guys" just have to wait it out!! But then I thought it wasnt particularly subtle!!
