Women don't think they snore - because men are too polite to tell them, they actually do.

Its not a big deal for us guys anyway, concidering what else we have to put with - a bit of snoring is a breeze...

Ahem, Stuart:

Aside from a few genetic anomalies, I truly don't think women snore. And, it seems as if most men do! Let's see: my husband, his father, my father, my brother-in-law, my two brothers, guys in my college dorm... Zzzzzzzz!

It's interesting. OK guys - does your wife snore??

She used to. She has lost a great deal of weight, and has gotten very healthy (as have I), and now does not snore.

Yes, Anne does snore when she's had a hard day at work. And she's completely unaware of it.

Yes, I've heard that being overweight has a lot to do with snoring. Losing weight is not easy - good for her (and you)!

Now, she has to contend with the nightly trips to the pasture...

Sorry to go back on topic, but have any of you ladies ever taken a spinning class? All I ever hear lately is how fantastic spinning is, so I'm very interested in taking some classes here in Calgary. Any feedback would be very appreciated!

Ashley, I love spinning classes! They give you a fantastic workout, and are a lot of fun! If you give one a try, make sure it is somewhat structured for beginners, and/or let the instructor know you are new. He/she needs to fit you properly to the bike and such. Also, try a few different instructors if you can. I take classes at the YMCA, and there are 3 or 4 instructors I love, and a couple I would never take a class from again - each has a different style, personality, taste in music, etc.

Have fun!

Thank you!! I hope my YMCA has some classes. I start belly dancing classes there next week, but I'd like to give spinning a try too.

Hey, just got back.... Carolina, I don't think women snore as much, but they do snore. My mother in law does.

You make me laugh about Pat - how does one know one snores unless there's someone to tell them they do!? However, my husband has actually wakened himself up with the noise - it's funny to watch! On the occasions he is asleep on the couch in the living room, he's known to put on quite a snoring show for the children. It's their laughing that wakes him then.

LOL - that's exactly what my wife discovered, along with glutin! She only has goat's milk and Feta cheese and glutin-free wheat products now, and the snoring has all but disappeared.

Don't tell me TRF doesn't serve as a support group!!!

I LOVE a woman that enjoys a good fart! Just ask my 7 year old. We have a rip-snortin' good time around here.

You guys have me laughing my head off about all of this!! I stand corrected - it seems that women do snore. I suppose we just pretend we don't (not very feminine, you know)!

Lisa, I can just picture your kiddos gathered around the sofa, watching Daddy as he snores! You should videotape that one for posterity!

On a more serious note, I have two area rugs stacked in the family room, and two new leather parsons chairs in the kitchen - and I'm not sure if I like any of them! I truly drive my husband crazy in these situations...
