It is pretty flash, and likely not for every day. I can see this getting more use in the summer, since I dress more casual in the summer months, and this strap is waterproof, unlike the leather one that is 'water resistant'... since I'm in the swimming pool most days in the summer, I won't risk getting the leather wet.

I only had the carbon on for an hour yesterday. It is stiff and needs breaking in to be comfortable, and the sheen of the carbon gives it a more bling look. But it's very different looking and always nice to have options.

You might try what I do to new nylon straps. Take it off the watch and soak it in water for awhile. Then sorta crumple it up while its wet, straighten it out and soak it some more. By the time you're done, it should be softer and not so shiney

John, that is awesome! I love it! It makes it look like a whole new watch - simply an amazing difference.......I knew it was going to look good, but not that good....

Not much into straps, I still love that one....the red stitching goes so well with the red 24-hour hand, and I love the surface on that strap....nice!!

I'm still thinking a navy blue leather strap would be nice. Thoughts?

That combo is YUCKIN FUMMY!!! I love it John, I had to go put my black with white carbon on the 88 tonight because that looked so good.

And I don't soak my leather straps wanker, I coat them in mink oil to make them waterproof. It works like a charm!!

Hey Johnny. The strap looks good on the watch.

I like the stitching and the way it picks up the red hand. It gives it a totally different look from the bracelet and the black/white strap.

). I've actually got this combo on now to break it in a bit. It looks pretty sharp, if I do say so myself.

Daren, with 30 straps for your 88, I don't know how you can decide what to wear it on. I've only got two straps and a bracelet... and I'm having trouble.

I just had a great strap sell off both publically and privately the last two days. So I am way down in the collection for now. I just have the ones that I want, plus two that I wanted and that is it. When the new ones arrive I will post a current pic of the collection.
