Thanks, Mike! I need to get over the "it needs to be platinum" mentality. There are too many special watches out there in other metals.

You will remember your wedding day for the rest of your life, get a watch up to the occasion - I vote Patek.

Congrats, and I echo Steve's comments, it dresses up very nicely for a wedding but can also be casual, just walking through the woods.

Not even a fair comparison. 5711R blows the other two out of the water. Easy choice.

Even though this is the PP section, and I love the Nautilus, I'd go with the DD depending on what else is in your collection.

Here's the three contender. What do you guys think??
"My fiancé is Allowing " I would say fix that first "she is allowing you "

Anyway my vote is 5711R

Personally I find square/octagon shaped watches fugly so the RO or Nautilus are out.

The 5196 or the new 5078 though, those are simply mouthwatering!

Considering his "wife is allowing" him to buy a 5711 I have a feeling a $385000, 5078 would not be the easiest first post wedding discussion to have!!

All great. To me, it is all about your wrist size. If you have an 8" wrist the AP would look better, IMO.

You need to try them all on.
It's surprising how much feelings change after trying on a watch.

Congratulations on the wedding and, more importantly, your watch!

Not getting married would be my #1 choice, but if you must, at least, it would be nice to survive the whole ordeal with a Nautilus on your wrist. 5711r is head and shoulders above the other two.
