Incoming! My second this year.

So hot on the heels of my 5960 I picked up at the end of April I was offere this last week and I could not say no. My preference was for the bracelet dial model but it's too good an opportunity and it's a gorgeous watch.

Here it is in all its glory

And it's twin,

Well chuffed with my AD as you would imagine and looking forward to adding more!

Cheers

Jacob

It is great to be able to try it on before you have to make the commitment. If all goes well, I hope I will see mine in 2023.

question, did you ask for the 5726 without specifying the blue or grey model? or did you specifically asked for the blue with bracelet and they said, would you be ok with the grey and strap?

I'm a bracelet guy. I also love a blue dial and have quite a few so naturally I asked for the 5726 but when you're told 2 years and one get offered a strap model in 5 months it would be foolish not to. It won't rule me out getting it and in the interim I can enjoy this.

What’s the wait time on the 5740? Did the AD say anything about approx delivery? Just wondering because this will be going into the 5th year( in 2022) of it’s release and hopefully Patek will not discontinue this anytime soon!

Was lead to believe under a year for the 5740. As in demand as it may appear to be there aren't that many people that can drop 100k on a watch at the drop of a hat once they get the call. Not even sure that many can drop 30-40k. Realistically I find the ADs call the customers they can rely on just to come in and pay no messing around.

It may have been 2-3 years but a guarantee of a 5726 or its replacement. It helps that I was an established customer of the group and also had bought a 5960 earlier in the year but I was still suprised and grateful to have received the call.

One year is very good indeed since most AD gets one per year. So no one is in line before you or he really likes you.

I ordered mine at the end of 2020 and was told 2023 delivery since there were two more gentlemen ahead of me. I know that the 2021 one was delivered so if the 2022 guy changes his mind, it would be wonderful.

The watch cannot be fitted with a bracelet. The end links area slightly different although you can buy conversion kits to do so.
