Patek Philippe's Second US Boutique in Miami

Patek Philippe Just Opened Its Second US Boutique in Miami’s Design District

The new store in Miami’s Design District is one of only two Patek boutiques in America—the other, in Los Angeles, opened in 2012.

“There will be very few boutiques in the world,” says Patek Philippe president Thierry Stern. “We are only producing about 65,000 pieces a year, so even if I wanted to have more spaces like this—and it’s a fantastic, big space—I would have to fill them up with watches, and it would be impossible.” He also said there are no current plans to open a third freestanding boutique any time soon.

Hmmm boutique or authorized dealer?
Only Salons are owned by Patek.

It’s a full-fledged boutique. Patek only. Look it up brother. Govberg owns it.

You may be right. This boutique in MIAMI DESIGN DISTRICT is in its own building. In fact it’s a historic US mail building.

Be first in the queue. The 5990/1R will be yours. Ask your partner to queue with you to get the 5740 too. They can't tell you "no stock" on the day of opening.

I can confirm this is 100% true. That’s how I got my 5711/1P emerald.

I don't know if there is a standard definition of a "boutique" and maybe it is just semantics. There are some Patek ADs that only sell Patek at one location and some people would call them a Patek "boutique". Perhaps the AD being located in a "free standing" building is a revised definition of a "boutique"

It seems like a strategic move for Govberg. I believe they are one of the largest Patek ADs in the US by sales volume. They are the only Patek AD in Philadelphia. Their Naples, FL store Yamron is fairly seasonal and is not a major point of sales. But the Miami location would really open up a different market for them.

Tiffany used to have an entire floor dedicated to Patek in the past, which you could call it a "boutique".

I haven't been there for a few years, but I heard they have made some changes and not the same as it used to be.

I guess a "boutique" would be dedicated Patek-only stores NOT run by Patek.

The boutiques that are actually run by Patek themselves are called "Salons" and there are only three of them in the world.

Not a bad place to visit and do some watch shopping. VC, Lange boutiques are a few hundred feet away.
