Damn, I love the folks at my boutique.

The bracelet is the same as the one for the moonphase speedy. They have one in stock.

I told them I would buy it.

They reminded me that we made a deal that they would get me a bracelet for the AT I just bought. They suggested, I use that for this.

I am going to pick it up tomorrow. For free.

Damn. Happy guy here. Pics will follow.

Love this! Not going to lie the white dial was going to be stunner but this watch with the strap looks like a keeper to me.

The orange accents make it "pop." Great choice, I prefer it to the white.

Can't ask more than that. A lesson on how you treat a customer.

Great looking watch. I have not seen this watch in person but it is on my short list to check out. Congratulations.

These are AWESOME. Saw the grayish dial on bracelet at the boutique today. I've sworn off larger watches, Dave I have same wrist as you, did you feel these work on you? Truthfully I even think the 42 normal speedie is too large for me. I think it's my old age. Sorry, didn't snap any pics. It has short lugs and seems a little thinner but.....the trilogy speedie on the other hand fits me gr8

Hey man, first of all congrats on the 60th Anniv Speedy! I know we've both been waiting a long time for that one.

To your question - the black model does fit and look quite good on my wrist, probably because black watches always seem to wear smaller. It wears great even on the bracelet, because the new end links fall straight down around the wrist and don't flare out like the previous ones did.

The white one does not work for me, I guess because white wears larger visually. The first time I tried it on I tried to convince myself that it was okay, and it wasn't TERRIBLE, but honestly it just looks too big on me (as you can see in the photo, and I believe you pointed out some months ago when I first posted it).

Also bear in mind I wear a standard Speedy Pro all the time, so I am conditioned to wearing larger watches than you are, it sounds like.

Sorry we kinda hijacked your thread there, Seth!

You are going to LOVE that watch on the bracelet. It's so damn cool that they're hooking you up like that! Make sure to post pics the minute you get it on your wrist.

Haha, I know what you mean! I'm looking down at the JLC chrono on my wrist and thinking dangerous thoughts...

Have you checked out the all black version (without the orange racing accents)? If you do, make sure your credit card is hidden somewhere safe.

I have not, good to know. The gray was outstanding, I like the accents / orange
