About 1675 dial

This is my 1675, I received from my friend.
The serial number is 5.1x M
But the dial, seems like mark I.
What about this dial, is it true?

That for sure is mark 1.

I blame it on the autoconnect.

That is indeed a long E dial, can you check the serial number?

Mark I it is. Much earlier dial, late 1960s era, than your watch.

Agreed, Mark 1 - also wondering if the lume is the earlier variant of the puffier lume seen on the 1.6-1.9 million (versus the 1.9-2.9 million with the waffle looking lume) or a redial (GMT hand lume looks a bit off). Would need better pictures.

Did you personally see the serial # or are you going off of the seller's word?

About 1675 dial

Well it depends on how anal u r on being original. N to a degree how much u paid for it. If u didn't pay much n can live with it, then it's still a fine looking specimen.

Btw if u r really anal, the insert is later.

I blame it on the autoconnect.

Maybe the dial is correct and the engraving is at fault...

Thank you for all opinions.
I think this is the new issue about the engraving of the case.

One would start to wonder why it is re-engraved with a new number. Gives me a bad taste tbh..

I, too, dislike the engraving.

Engraving looks off. For comparison this is a true late Mk1
