THOUGHTS? Rolex Explorer Ref. 5500/0 c. 1960

Stumbled upon this little Super Precision from c. 1960. Excuse the quality of images, but what are you thoughts? Does it look original? Are they a collector's piece? All comments welcome, thanks guys. |

Not the best pics, but I think this dial could be correct.
Do not equate it to a 1016, for their markets are quite different. Haywood

that's the second one I've seen today...
The tritium designation added after the fact to what would have been a radium dial...weird. |

looks like a sweet little watch! A lot of people avoid the Explorer 5500 because there a so many redials out there. Source an old AK, pick up a 5500 redail and bingo a handsome looking sports watch. This is is good link with a lot of info
