Rolex itself acknowledges that people want pm watches on rubber.
The thread is about a YG Submariner on a rubber not a yachtmaster or a daytona..........hence my comment.

I am not going to comment more, we were asked for our opinions and I gave mine. It's good we all have different opinions or we would all wear the same watch.

I appreciate everyone's opinion. I find that I am very often indecisive or that the choices I make seem to go against the "flow". I am not worried if someone thinks my watch looks fake as I am wearing it for me not anyone else. I just sold a RG YM on the Oysterflex. The reason I bought it was because the gold looked good on rubber and toned it down a bit. The reason I never bonded with it was because I ama sub guy and just felt the YM wasn't "tool" enough for me. I am asking about the look of the YG sub on rubber because "aftermarket" rubber is all that would be available and I am just wondering how the two mate up. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and suggestions.

Any Sub looks great on rubber. It's a dive watch after all.

Very very tempted to get an Everest band for my Sub C. They look fantastic!
The new Oysterflex straps from Rolex actually resemble the Rubber B strap for Daytona watches on crocodile. They look nothing like the everest curved end version.

Okay, I'm actually really loving this combo. Have you had any other strap besides a Rubber B? I've heard of Everest and think that Rubber B's quality is better. But, i'm curious to know what other rubber straps there are out there?

I think an oysterflex on that YG and black Sub would be fantastic! I don't know all the specifics but it looks possible: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...lex+for+my+sub

Interesting to hear people's opinions. I think the Everest bands look better of the two.

I think both the Everest straps and the rubber B look good i the pics I have seen and a couple I have seen in person on Subs and SD. Adds a different look to the watch. Mixes it up a little. Go for it!
