No excuses. Put them on your wrist and start sharing! 'Bank pics' are boring...

Here like this--literally took two seconds

I know pieces get manhandled all the time at ADs and messed up hence plastic wrap all over many of them but would've thought it held up better is all. Your 11-03 is a beauty!
Mike my 35-01 isn't scratched but came like this brand new from the AD.. (Notice the deep black circles embedded) I took it to Westme on Sunset and the manager didn't know what it was and asked to have it sent in for service but I just let it be. They came on both sides of the case (3 deep dark circles) on each side. The "grey" part is not dust. This is exactly how the watch came shipped to me.

RM could have fixed that--not a big deal. NTPT is not as exact as other materials.

But you sold it, so C'est la vie.

Had no 'circles' on any of mine.

This is very common on RM pieces- I have seen it on many of my watches. It does easily come out/off though. I suspect it is from securing the case during assembly, but I am not exactly sure.

I have seen it on my old 11's.

I tried on my own but to no avail, I'm sure RM could have fixed it easily if I sent it in.

Maybe I need eclipse glasses, but no circles here.

Just giving you heck Ack, in all seriousness, RM could have cleaned that in 5 minutes.

Paul- if you remember we had a convo about this when I got my Anniversary 11- It was certainly on that piece. I can see it on my 35-02 here at the office too.

Surely they're clamp marks from when the case is machined?

do you mean those dark circles on the side of the case?

its just oil from fingers etc that darken the areas that were handled on the NTPT case.

a feature unique to the material..

clean it properly and it will be gone

No Ted...common sense doesn't apply here.

It would not make sense to clean it or send to RM to have them clean (if it bothered someone).

No, no, this has to be a QC issue

Paul I tried cleaning. Westime did as well. Again, to no avail.

Whatever Ack. You should have sent into RM to have them take care of it--but you chose not too.

I appreciate you trying to make some deal out of this...but all it required was you sending in. Simple. You didn't and sold the watch.

So now what 6 months later you're complaining?
