and in Holland we have 21% tax, so 13% is very low. 19% from Germany comes closer, but is still a bargain for us. Besides, in Germany, cars are only 60% of the Holland prices (as we have 45% additional car tax), same for houses...
In the States, apart from Rolex, everything else is a lot lower priced, so enjoy your low prices, and let us in Holland stay jealous :-)

BLNR costs in Holland only € 7800 ($ 9865), and that is without any knife :-))

$8450.00 from AD one year ago. I have a good relationship with them and $500 off was all they could do, which isn't bad.

7250 euros in canary islands (spain) with a 10% discount worked out at £5600 for me

In Scotland it retails at 5950 and no AD offered a discount

Mine adquired in Spain some months ago. MRSP was 7400 EUR and I paid 6700, that is, about 11 % of discount .

Oct. 2013. I got the first that my AD received. I gave a great relationship and they gave me a great deal. I live just over the state line so no sales tax eitherImageUploadedByTapatalk1412429921.796113.jpg

Picked mine up in Toronto, Canada in late February 2014.

The AD offered me 16% discount up front. I came back 4 days later with cash and offered to buy it if they'd cough up another 2% in discount.

Manager said "Yes" and I bought it.

Looking at my sales slip from RDV, the agreed upon price for the BLNR came out to $7,421 CAD, plus another $864.73 in tax and I paid $8,385.72 CAD out the door.

Then came new on May 1 2014 that the price went up by about 6% and the dealer margins went down. The most I was told they'd negotiate on price was a 5% discount.

Luckily I bought it when I did. I guess it was meant to be.

Baffles the brain really!

You lucked out. I missed out on a chance to buy it cheaper. Back in Oct of 2013, my AD offered the BLNR to me for $8,838 taxes in, which would equate to roughly $7,891 before taxes. I passed on the offer and when I finally picked mine up, I ended up paying $9,508 taxes in. This was in June of 2014. Lesson learned. Don't delay when you are on the market for watches.

BLNR price tread

What an awesome thread. Someone can do a little math here / adjust for currency translation and answer the eternal TRF question..."What is the average discount I should expect on a stainless steel Rolex."

Of course the caveats will be relative to GMTIIC Blnr examples only in this thread / global regions participating and adjustment for any fudging ;-)

I paid around $8,300 all up in August this year. But got a very nice sterling silver Rolex loupe and a 2 watch Rolex watch travel case thrown in.

$8950, not 6% SC sales tax from an AD

Full price.
I asked for discount - AD said no.
I asked for some discount on a service of my other Rolex - AD said no.
So I ended up paying the AD £5,950.

Got quote from a Jersey, UK jeweller of £5250 ($8400 approx) and that's without haggling. I'm sure there's room for improvement here!
