Incredible craftsmanship and skill. I love the look on the Patek. Must be very expensive to have this sort of thing done.

Nice craftmanship - but I think I threw up a little seeing that work on the 5990. I don't care how wealthy you are to 1) pay for a 5990 and the engraving work, and 2) to alter a 5990 that you probably will lose all service/support from Patek - this is a case where the fusion of both ends up in a finished product that (IMO) is a lot less than the sum of their individual parts.

On the face of it and from and abstract pov, it looks interesting, but the quality of execution leaves a lot to be desired when you look at the 5712R and AP QE II Cup on his website’s gallery page – rough as f’k is the most appropriate term applicable.

Beyond tacky IMO.. I appreciate the skill, but why would you wreck a PP like that?

As much as I appreciate the mastery and the artisanal value, I would not even do expose my g-shock to this :)

Funny thing if this were a PP LE piece, it would sell out. True.

There would be a thread asking every 10 minutes if anyone has received theirs :-)

Not embarrassed to say I think it looks amazing.

I'm not going to run out and have my 5712 engraved, but I'd love to have that piece in my collection. And it would look really cool with the right outfit! :)

I appreciate the craftsmanship but that is certainly not my cup of tea

Were it marketed by Patek, especially in an exclusive event, there would be so many people to appreciate the craftsmanship. Am I not wrong?
It was to be relevant to proper types of cognitive bias.

Exceptional work! At least it was done on a used watch.
