Just joined. Picked up my first Rolex yesterday.
After getting cold feet at the nearby AD when I saw they had a 214270 on display earlier in the week (sadly weren't budging on the discount - got sold by the time I went back lol), picked up a pre-owned 16-month old example of the Pre-Basel 2016 Explorer 1 in fantastic condition for a good deal instead. Looking back, the lumed numerals and larger hands on the Mk 2 214270, would've been a welcome addition (especially at night), but not for the price difference. Lol. This one feels special in its own way -more elegant to me at least. Love the size and case.
 Anyway, already took off the wonderful bracelet and looking for a rubber strap for it tomorrow.
