Had LASIK eye surgery last week - MAN I CAN SEE!!!!

WOW.. I mean WOW I can even read all the fiddly little bits on my itsy-bitsy 36mm DateJust.....and don't those concentric faces look AMAZING!

Nothing other to share other that WOW...better than 20/20 vision after 45 years!!!!

And this is what I can SEE now when I look at my watch.

Happy Bunny

Congrats!

Got a question for everybody, (it's probably a stupid one). I had 20-12 as a Navy Pilot... unfortunetely that was 183 years ago and now I am dependent on reading glasses; more and more so as time goes on. Distant vision is still fine but is there any kind of lasik/or some other procedure that might help me?

no expert Paul but yes you can. This is just the info from the company I used, but there are options from others of course.

I had lasik done in January 2012 and I went from being -8.5 and -9.25 in the other eye to only having to wear a small 1.50 correction for distance. I only wear glasses when I drive at night. Also after the surgery everything up close looks huge for a couple of days until you adjust to your new eyes. Congrats on getting good vision its money well spent.

Good Move, I had PRK (Same correction as LASIK but no flap) 2 years ago and I'm loving it! How's your night vision any halos or bursts?

Great News!

I'm doing Ortho K for the last 15 years but I'm now in my early 40's and my eyes aren't accepting the Ortho K procedure as well now. Will have to resort to going back to my natural prescription and back to CL and glasses. I asked my Eye Dr about laser at my age but he says I should wait a bit longer.

I had lasEk(no corneal flap)about 4 years ago. It was great for me. Before the procedure I was only able to see from 12 inches in. Now I can see everything in the distance. I do need reading glasses for close vision as everyone in my age bracket does.

Congrats!

I also had LASIK done last year. Mine was -2.75 and -2.50. I had bladeless procedure, and had one eye adjusted for distance, and one eye left slightly short sighted to that I wouldn't need reading glasses (am in my late 40's). Best money spent!
