I don't think this article was posted before Larry, but it was hotly followed and discussed here on the boards for quite some time....
Infact, a member here was involved in the authentication/purchase and delivery of the watch to it's current owner!

Welcome to TRF! My friend bought the watch- lucky guy as he got not only a great watch but for a great price!! It couldn't have gone to a nicer guy though!! The dial is fantastic and what great provenance!! Thanks for sharing with us!!

Thanks to Vijay the watch has a great new home!! Check under dial archive there too for 5510--some great shots. As I said--it couldn't have gone to a better home(although she would look good next to my 4 line 6538) and talk about a great buy -wow what a deal!! Good for Vijay!
