Ceramic bezel rotation

Does turning the ceramic bezel on a rolex sub hundreds of times over (time) eventually weaken or loosen it? Thank you.

Interesting first post....

The click spring will wear eventually but it costs very little to replace.

Thanks.

So when it wears, it's not the entire bezel that needs replacement, just a tightening or replacement of the underlying spring? Does the speed of bezel turning weaken it quicker? Are we talking thousands of times to start to weaken the spring, or every time you turn it, it weakens a little more. Thanks for your great advice.

Maybe after a few hundred thousand......and by then, you'll be long gone and the watch will be on some other guys wrist!

The ceramic bezels do not use the older click spring system.
It's ball bearings on small springs that are seated underneath the bezel.

Welcome to TRF!

Easy answer - not in a normal lifetime.
Now if you're OCD and can't leave it alone then a different outcome.
